Private areas: toilets, bedrooms, changing rooms

Set the type of place for each camera (Cameras → camera). For a toilet, bathroom, changing room, bedroom or dormitory room, choose the private type: Kepto then never fetches a picture from that camera and never analyses it.

Kepto also checks new cameras once. If a camera looks like it may see a private space, you get an alert and AI stays off for it until an admin looks and confirms (I confirm this camera does not show a private area).

Cameras in private spaces are often against the law. Point cameras at entrances and common areas only.
